You won't believe what this mum found in her fried chicken

An Australian mother who bought fried chicken got more than she bargained for when she found something 'crunchy' in the chicken. 

After eating most of the meal with her husband and four children, she put it away in the fridge. The next day, when having the leftovers, she "noticed something black sticking out". 

At first, she thought it was just a bit of burnt skin, but on closer inspection, she saw that it was, in fact, a cockroach.

She contacted the health authorities, and received a reply saying that they would "lodge a complaint and investigate".
