WATCH: John Campbell loses his sh*t meeting TJ Perenara on Breakfast

John Campbell is the ultimate fan of All Black and Hurricanes player TJ Perenara, and when the rugby star made a surprise appearance on TVNZ 1's Breakfast, Campbell lost his sh*t!

Campbell, a huge fan of Perenara's work both on and off the rugby field, was left puzzled after colleague Hayley Holt teased that Hurricanes fans would be in for a "big surprise" after the ad break.

But shortly after the show went to the break, Campbell was surprised as Perenara entered the studio to the presenter's surprise.

"What the f***?" Campbell said in utter disbelief.

It comes the day after TJ and his wife Greer announced that they were expecting their first child this year.
