Vodafone Warriors player Jazz Tevaga has started a fundraising campaign to support his injured teammate Nate (Nathaniel) Roache.
Nate Roache has had a bit of a tough time over the last few years since his debut in 2016. He has played 26 games since his debut, but has been plagued by injury, including tearing his Achilles, a lumbar disc injury and most recently, an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) tear at the start of July.
According to 1News, Tevaga announced earlier this week on his Instagram that he would start a collection of Trade Me auctions, with his fellow Vodafone Warriors teammates including Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, Tohu Harris, Blake Green and David Fusitu'a donating items to donate.
RTS and Blake Green donated signed worn boots, whereas David Fusitu'a donated a signed 2016 Mate Ma'a Tonga playing jersey.

Tevaga told 1News that he wanted to raise a bit of money for Roache to have a bit of fun after a tough few injury plagued years.
"That kid just can't catch a break, it's just heart-breaking seeing what he's going through," "I would never wish that on anyone, to see him go through another season ending injury - it just breaks my heart. He's one of my good mates." he said.
