The first trailer for the new Jumanji sequel, Jumanji: The Next Level has been released!
The star of the film, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson unveiled the trailer which hilariously features Danny DeVito and Danny Glover alongside returning cast members Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan.
The movie also features Kiwi star Rhys Darby!
The Rock took to Instagram to thank fans for their warm reception to DeVito being in the new movie - who The Rock will be playing.
"Very cool to see everyone's 'holy sh*t! The Rock is playing Danny DeVito' reactions to our new Jumanji trailer," The Rock wrote. "For this sequel, the goal was to present something fresh and innovative - and insanely fun.
"I got lucky having a gem like DeVito to channel, and wait 'til you see my co-stars and the performances they bring."
Unlike the original 1995 Jumanji - which starred the beloved Robin Williams - which told the story of chaos brought on by a cursed board game, this new sequel follows on from the 2017 Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, giving the terrifying boardgame a modern twist by becoming a video-game.
Jumanji is an old video game that four high school students discover. They get sucked into the game, taking on the role of different characters in the virtual setting, forced to play through it in order to get back to their own world.
After escaping the game in Welcome to the Jungle, one of the teens, Spencer, gets sucked back into the game, his friends follow him back, but something goes wrong when Spencer's grandfather (DeVito) gets sucked in too and into the body of The Rock.
Jumanji: The Next Level will be released in December.
