The average time it takes a woman to orgasm has been revealed!

A new study has revealed how long - on average - it takes a woman to have an orgasm. 

According to the study, which gathered data from 645 straight woman from 21 different countries, it takes woman, on average, 13 minutes and 25 seconds to 'finish'. 

The research showed that time ranged it took started from just 5 minutes 42 seconds, to a little more than 21 minutes. However, one in six of the women who took part never experienced a climax during intercourse.

All the women who took part in the study – published in The Journal of Sexual Medicine - were either in long-term relationships or married. The average age of the women was 30-years-old, however, the scientists indicated that age and longevity of the relationship did not have a significant effect on the time it took to climax.

Meanwhile, a previous study conducted in 2009 found that it takes an average time of just six minutes for a man to reach orgasm.
