Steven Adams has his heart melted by an adorable little fan

He has just been labelled as the strongest and most physical player in the NBA by a former coach, but it seems that Steven's toughness is only skin deep.

The OKC player had his heart "melted by an adorable little guy during the Thunder's annual Holiday Assist Program.

For the program, players take young NBA fans shopping and buy them everything that they desire for Christmas, but it was what Steven got out of the trip that hit him right in the feels.

Once the two had finished gathering their toys, little Cody ran off by himself without Steven and returned with a $25 Burger King voucher.

"He's taken me somewhere in the shop, where no toys were really, and then he told me to stop, wait here, I can't follow him, and then he ran back and got me a little gift card and then came back," Adams said.

"It hurt my heart, mate, it hurt my heart. Yeah, it felt good."
