Stan Walker tops the charts in the first ever 'Te Reo Maori Top 10' music rankings

The official New Zealand Top 40 have introduced a Te Reo Maori Top 10 music chart, Ngā Waiata Kairangi I Te Reo Māori, which will showcase the top performing te reo songs for the week. 

Saturday marked the first time the charts had been released, with Stan Walker taking out the top spot with 'Tua' featuring Ibanez Maeva.

 In order to qualify for the Official Te Reo Māori Top 10 chart, vocals must be performed primarily in te reo Māori., or at least 70% of all vocals to be performed in te reo.
