We’re with the boys through it all, win or lose 🧡 Shaun Johnson calls out the keyboard warriors after hundreds of hate-fueled comments.
Shaun Johnson took to his Instagram clapping back at social media trolls after the One NZ Warriors disappointing 66-6 loss against the Gold Coast Titans. One comment read, “@shaun_johnson90 – Better turn these comments off bruz” and others encouraging the halfback to retire.
Shaun posted. “Just like you I see the comments and damn some of you are savage ha.”
Johnson’s post rallied support from players across the NRL - Dallin Watene-Zelezniak, Jahrome Hughes, Chad Townsend, Kodi Nikorima plus All Black Caleb Clarke and former Wallaby Quade Cooper.
SJ wrote "Perspective is key, I'm at a stage where 80min doesn't define me like it once did,"
Out with an Achilles injury, Shaun’s earliest return set for round 21 at home against West Tigers.
It’s a good reminder to fans – we’re with the boys through it all. We win together, we lose together, and the support never changes. As Shaun said, “think before you type” and let’s look ahead to the biggest home game of the season this Saturday against the Brisbane Broncos.
