Warriors captain Tohu Harris has reportedly announced his retirement from the NRL, delivering a blow to the team ahead of the 2025 season

The 32-year-old made the decision after struggling to recover from a wrist injury that prematurely ended his 2024 campaign
Harris had surgery on the injury after making 14 appearances last season, but was unable to return to the field
His retirement comes on the heels of the departure of another experienced leader, Shaun Johnson
If confirmed, Harris' retirement will leave a leadership void in the Warriors camp, with players like Mitch Barnett, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, Kurt Capewell, and new arrival James Fisher-Harris expected to shoulder extra responsibilities
Harris, who began his NRL career with the Melbourne Storm in 2013, played a total of 234 games
He won a premiership in his final game for the Storm in 2017 before joining the Warriors, where he established himself as one of the game's best locks and a steadfast leader
