MTV VMAs go down - Lil Nas X and Ariana Grande big winners

The 2019 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) have gone down today in New Jersey, with Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish and Lil Nas X just some of the big winners in the awards.
One of the supreme awards, Video of the Year, was scored by Taylor Swift for her song "You Need to Calm Down", with 21 Savage, Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, the Jonas Brothers and Lil Nas X being nominated for the award.
Artist of the Year was won by Ariana Grande, while best new artist was taken out by Billie Eilish, who went up alongside Ava Max, H.E.R, Lil Nas X, Lizzo and ROSALÍA for the gong.
Song of the Year went to Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus who appeared on stage to accept the award, with Lil Nas X wearing a bright red suit with a cowboy hat; while ensuring he thanked Billy Ray for his success.
Missy Elliot received the award for the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, while performing her career-spanning medley including "Throw it Back".
Best Hip Hop track went to Cardi B for her track "Money", while Best R&B went to Normani for "Waves" featuring 6LACK.
