A Kiwi truck driver in Australia has gone viral for stopping a thief from getting away from a robbery at a local pharmacy in Yarrabilba, Logan City, Queensland.
'T' as he is introduced as, wears a Chiefs super rugby jersey in the interview with Channel 9's TODAY show, and explains that he was running some magazines to a Coles supermarket when he was waved down and told there was a robbery taking place.
T then decided to get invovled and stop the thieves, explaining that the first thief got away, but the second one wasn't going to be so lucky.
"I took a step back and that is when the first fella just ran straight past me. I was like, 'bro, you got away'. The second fella looked at me and I thought 'you are not going anywhere, fella.'
"I just tackled that fella down. He was struggling at first and I said to him, 'mate, you are wasting your breath, you are just going to make yourself tired'. After a little while he sort of just gave up."
The video of the interview has gone viral online, with many people loving the banter between T and host Karl Stefanovic.
