Hoooolyyyy throwback!

A Kiwi shared a receipt they found in their garage from 1994, it's a little faded but you can see what we were paying for groceries back in the day. (Ok, low key trigger warning cause it made us feel broke as..:(

Dated 4 July 1994 from the mighty Gisborne Pak N Save a few bits that stood out are a dozen eggs for $2.69... a 250ml Fresh Up for $1.35... a kilo of cheese for $5.58 and the sweet tooths had it good with $1.30 donuts. *Crying in cost-of-living crisis*
