Katchafire have been nominated for a BIG award!

NZ reggae band Katchafire have been nominated for two New Zealand music awards, Best Roots Artist and Best Māori Artist.
It comes after the release their 5th studio album Legacy in June.
The song '100' is also set to be released as a single with a brand new music video on October 5.

Member of Katchafire, Logan Bell said that '100' is “a song about real subject matter; about missing home, about our lifestyle. It focusses on mums, and wives and grandmothers and it’s a tribute to the ladies in your life that create life and give life…".
Katchafire have been making Aotearoa proud around the world for the past 20 years and were also honoured with a nomination for the Best Group at the Island Music Awards in Hawaii.
They are about to start the Australian leg of their Legacy Love Today Tour in Melbourne after recently completing the New Zealand section of the tour, finishing at Mount Maunganui last weekend.
They will find out whether they can take out the award for the "Best Roots Artist" and Best Māori Artist" at the 2018 Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards take place in Auckland on November 15.
