Aquaman and Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa had smiles for everyone as he embraced the All Blacks team in Auckland the other day.
The All Blacks’ Instagram account shared to their 2 million followers, “The people you run into in Auckland”, beneath a carousel of pictures where Momoa and the team took selfies, embraced, and posed for group photos.
He commented ”Love u guys”, underneath the All Blacks’ post before reposting it to his 17 million followers on Instagram, with the caption: “Mahalo to my favorite team in the world Aloha j.”
He also posted about how he got to call and meet his idol, Tana Umaga.
Momoa arrived to Auckland from Hawaii on Saturday, where he was greeted with a pōwhiri at Auckland International Airport.
The Hollywood star is then gifted a pounamu, and goes on to greet each member of the group with a hongi before posing for photos.
Captured by The Coconet, Momoa appears to be chuffed by the performance giving a nod as acknowledgement before he is seen bowing in respect.
Momoa also debuted his head tattoo the other day as he boarded a fight to New Zealand.
He is believed to be in New Zealand to start filming his new Apple TV + series Chief of War, which he is starring in, writing and executive producing.
