Drake reschedules Auckland shows, fans rush to change plans

Drake has rescheduled his two Auckland shows, causing panic among fans who now have to change their travel plans and accommodation.

The Grammy Award winner had announced his tour of Australia and New Zealand in November, with the Auckland shows scheduled for February 28 and March 1.

However, Ticketmaster notified fans on Wednesday that the dates had been changed because of “scheduling conflicts”

The new dates for the Auckland shows are March 15 and 16. It is unclear why Drake postponed the shows, but he recently added two more shows in Australia on March 4 and March 7.

 After the announcement, fans expressed their dismay on social media and some even tried to sell or swap their tickets immediately.

Fans who cannot make it to Drake's rescheduled shows are advised to request refunds through Ticketmaster by 5pm on February 11.
