Dr Dre, Toni Braxton and Brandy among others to receive a star on the Walk Of Fame

We are finally seeing more of our favourite artists get the recognition they deserve. Dr. Dre, Toni Braxton and Brandy are some of the many artists announced to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. 

Chadwick Boseman (who will be receiving a posthumous star) was among the names announced as well as Gwen Stefani, Michelle Yeoh, Mario Lopez, Gal Gadot and more. To view the full class of '24 click here.

We currently do not have dates for when each of their ceremonies are going to take place, but we will keep you updated when we find out the news. 

The criteria for receiving a star consists of the following: professional achievement, longevity in the category of five years or more, contributions to the community and the guarantee that the celebrity will attend the dedication ceremony if selected. Posthumous awards require a two-year waiting period after death. There is also a $75,000 donation after being selected which goes towards maintenance of the stars
