Barbie launches Aaliyah doll in Music Collector Series tribute

Barbie has released a new collectible doll to honour the late singer Aaliyah, who is known as the “Princess of R&B”

The doll, which is part of Barbie's Music Collector Series, was launched on January 16, which would have been Aaliyah's 46th birthday. Inspired by her “One in a Million” music video, the doll is dressed in a black faux leather outfit with studded lace-up details, a zippered vest, and statement shades. Aaliyah's signature hairstyle, with hair sweeping over one eye, completes the look.

Haughton expressed his excitement about the doll, saying his sister would have been ecstatic to see her legacy celebrated in this way.
