First we had Jaden Smith and now this!!! What type of event is the MET Gala?

Pharrell Williams, kept it reasonably formal/casual, with a humble plaid shirt and a leather jacket, jeans and some very fine loafers. Enter his wife Helen Lasichanh, who must have been extremely cold before leaving the house, because she actually looked like a hot water bottle.

Her ensemble was picked out by Rei Kawakubo, and was widely accepted because it played to the theme of the event. The Internet was much more judgemental towards Helen's choice in fashion:
