Joseph Parker and his team have been slammed by overseas fans and media after a shambolic press conference this afternoon.

The press conference was held to update the negotiations between Parker and current IBF, WBA and IBO champion Anthony Joshua, but a sideshow sent a torrent of criticism the way of Parker and his Duco camp.

The Parker camp promised to show an exclusive video over a minute long which shows Joshua being continually knocked down in sparring.

However, it left onlookers underwhelmed, including The Sun, who noted that the "homemade style clips came from global blockbuster fights against Wladimir Klitschko and Dillian Whyte."

To make matters worse, it took Team Parker several minutes to turn on the film, while signs and microphones both fell down during the press conference.

During the press conference, Parker's team offered £20,000 to any Joshua fan who "can produce credible video of [Parker] being dropped."

"Parker has never been dropped. Not as an amateur, in sparring or in his profession," said Parker's promoted, David Higgins

"He's beaten hard men like Carlos Takam, who never dropped him."

Higgins, and more recently Parker, have made a point of making reference to what they describe as Joshua's suspect chin.

Parker insists he has never been hurt in a fight or in sparring much less knocked down.

The 25-year-old Parker wants a 40 percent share of the purse against Joshua, with revenue shared rather than a fixed fee, but has said he would accept 35 percent just to get the fight made.
