J Cole and his wife are expecting their second child!

J Cole and his wife Melissa Heholt are expecting baby number 2.

The rapper announced the news in a pretty unconventional way, revealing the news in the lyrics of Sacrifices, a track on his latest album Revenge of the Dreamers III. 

“I had nowhere to go, she gave me a place to stay/She gave me her heart to hold/I still got that sh-t to this day,” he raps. “She gave me the gift of my son/and plus we got one on the way,” he reveals, adding, “She gave me a family to love, for that, I can never repay/ I’m crying while writing these words, the tears, they feel good on my face.”

It's not the first time J Cole and his wife opted for a not-so-traditional way of announcing news; back in 2018, they hadn't confirmed the arrival of their first son until he dropped the news in an interview with Angie Martinez saying that when he goes home "outside of like playing with my son, if I go three days without doing music, making a beat, writing a song…I start to feel like, miserable.".
